Bronson Jacque
Program Coordinator
Bronson Jacque is an Inuit artist from Postville, Nunatsiavut, who now works and lives in Ottawa, Ontario. Growing up in Nunatsiavut, Bronson has navigated various systemic barriers, always looking to find opportunities to address these challenges and build a better tomorrow. As Program Coordinator, they value making connections and solving problems, focusing on identifying people’s strengths and helping them reach their goals.
They have worked with youth in various areas, including teaching game development, arts, and leadership skills. They have attended events such as the Arctic Arts Summit, Nuuk Nordic Cultural Festival, and the Sami Game Jam, contributing both as an artist and instructor. They were involved in creating artwork for INUA, WAG: Qaumajuq’s inaugural exhibition, and collaborated with the Aboriginal Women’s Association of Prince Edward Island to paint a mural honouring the experience of friends and family of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls.
Bronson’s guiding principle is the importance of connection. They believe fostering connections within our communities, with the land, and within ourselves can help address many of today’s challenges.
